High on glamour and style Amit Arora
The fashion wizard launched his label with a bang!!!
The shutterbugs could not stop flashing and the crowd could not resist applauding when
the much-awaited moment of the mega event arrived. It was the launch of designer
Label “Amit Arora”, at IVY Poison on 22nd September’10. The event turned out to
be a grand affair as the elite glitterati of fashion capital of the likes of Sunil Sethi,
Shawar Ali, Ramola Bachan, Vijay Arora, Charu & Anupam Parashar, Vandy & Manoj
Mehra, Slyvie, Lisa Verma & Saurabh dropped in to join the celebration and fun.
Our very keen Crème da la crème occupied the front seats to witness the show when
the models got down on the ramp to showcase the Autumn/Winter collection. Models
Deepak Wadhwa, Andy, Vikram Rana, Himanshu with our glam doll Olina got the
temperature high as they completely sizzled in the stupendous creations by Amit Arora. .
A modern attitude filtered through a refined play of formal rules and revamped casuals. A
creative play of the blend of these two styles was eye-grabbing. To add to the hot fashion
quotient was the show stopper Shawar Ali in a classy jacket with elegant stitching,
unexpected colorful satin interlinings inspired by Turkish art with a hint of crest on the
sleeves.
Amit Arora, on launch of his debut designer label, shared “It is all so over-whelming.
For any designer, launching his own label is of paramount importance. And when one
has your friends and well-wishers coming up to join you on this day, all the restlessness
and jitters meanwhile proves to be worthy. And I am really thrilled that my guests have
shown an inclination for my Autumn/Winter collection. They have liked the manner I
have played with the colors and styles. It is just the starting of the journey, & all goes
well by God’s grace!!!”
The launch was followed by after party where our host and hostess with guests were seen
letting their hair down splurging on wine and snacks. The happening crowd made the
party all the more happening. The guests were seen congratulating the dapper designer
for his successful launch. The greetings and wishes were seemed to be pouring in from
everywhere. The gorgeous faces happily mingled with each other and enjoyed the
fashionable night out.
